Bhagyalakshmi has a Masters Degree in Disaster Management from Kerala University of Fisheries And Ocean Studies. She has a degree in Bsc Environmental Science from Mahatma Gandhi University and is registered at KUFOS for her PhD, which will focus on the impact of Climate Change on Extreme Weather Events in North Kerala.
